1914 $2.5 PCGS AU50
#3 of 4 from the toned group. Perhaps my favorite. Tons of crust and eye appeal with purples and even some magenta and pink popping through at angles on the reverse. Anytime I can find magenta toning on gold, I snatch it up. I find it comparable in rarity to the sought after greens that bring unreal premiums on silver coins, especially Morgan dollars. I imagine that this premium will increase with time as more and more collectors seek differentiators for the purchases. A great piece that I expect to go quickly with the rest of this little grouping.
