1837 50c PCGS XF45 CAC

A perfect example of how a coin doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars to be amazing.  The GR-10 variety of the 1837 RE Half, as described in Dick Graham’s book, often comes very eye appealing when found.   This piece certainly fits the bill.  Very seldom does an XF coin garner more “oohs and ahhs” as a significantly higher grade example.  With an amazing medium grey color and lovely cameo contrast, this piece is sure to please the fussiest of collectors with the added bonus of being an R-4 variety.
