1831 25c PCGS MS66
The Pogue specimen. Small Letters. A real monster of a coin when I first purchased this coin from a collection in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2004, and obviously recognized as such to end up in the hands of Brent Pogue. Stunning luster and eye appeal off the charts. Since the Pogue sale, I have lost track of where the coin is now. Whomever owns it now is a lucky duck. Sold well before the advent of CAC, and Pogue coins did not carry stickers although they were reviewed. Originally purchased in an old green label holder. PCGS pop 8/0. Pop 1/0 for the Browning 4 variety.
