Freshly purchased and fresh to the market! Certain coins, even in today’s cynical market, carry quite a bit of romance. The 1796 quarter, a one year type coin, with a beautiful and simple design, remains one of those coins. This particular piece is medium russet/grey with clean surfaces and nice detail. This coin is set apart by its very nice originality and eye appeal and would look perfect in nearly any cabinet, either for type or for the advanced quarter collector looking for the date and variety (B-2). 1796 quarters as a date and in this grade and quality come available once every year or so and represent a great opportunity. This particular coin is very choice and would always be sought after by Silicon Valley Coins in the future should you chose to change collecting direction.
